Unlock India's Language and Culture
This course offers the perfect blend of classroom learning and cultural immersion. You will be introduced to Indian culture and learn what Hindi language is like in different parts of India. In the end, you will learn how to communicate clearly in basic Hindi in standard situations, making you fall in love with this beautiful language for life.
The study of Hindi script goes hand in hand with the study of Hindi grammar. And once you’ve mastered Devanagari, you’ll be able to practice what you’ve learnt in. Learning is all about revision and repetition!
In contrast to traditional approaches, grammar presentation and analysis are relegated to the background. Nevertheless, we have structured a sequence of grammar and vocabulary learning that underpins the lessons.
Through listening and analysing texts, you will learn ready-made constructions that you can immediately put into practice with native speakers.
Course Options: Semi-Intensive and Intensive
The semi-intensive course consists of 3 lessons per day, 5 days a week. It offers a balanced pace, allowing you to build language skills steadily. Each day includes 3 academic lessons (45 minutes each), along with additional homework for reinforcement. You’ll learn fundamental grammar, essential vocabulary, and foundational conversational skills. This option is perfect for learners who prefer a steady approach to language acquisition with time for cultural exploration outside of class.
For a more immersive experience, choose the intensive course, which adds 2 extra lessons in the afternoon for dedicated speaking practice. This totals 5 hours of lessons per day, with the additional hours focusing specifically on conversational Hindi. In these additional sessions, you’ll practice real-life scenarios, role-play, and engage in speaking exercises. The speaking-focused segment will be a mixed-level group (A1-A2), ensuring you gain valuable exposure to varied speech patterns and more dynamic practice.
Flexible Course Duration
Our A1 Semi-Intensive and Intensive Courses are designed to be completed in 6 weeks. However, students have the flexibility to join for a shorter period: 2 or 4 weeks.
Regardless of the duration you choose, you’ll seamlessly continue from where you left off if you decide to extend your learning.
Is This Course for You?
This course is perfect for complete beginners with no prior knowledge of Hindi, as well as for those who have a basic understanding of the language and want to strengthen their skills and gain confidence in conversation.
After taking the Hindi language proficiency test, you will be offered a video consultation with a member of our staff to help you finalize your choice of course, number of weeks, and if necessary, online classes to prepare for on-campus classes.
